Cancellation Policy

It supplements the Default Service Policy and Payment Policy. By using our online booking system, you agree to this Policy. Consult an attorney for legal advice specific to your jurisdiction. 1. Online Booking Process Booking Platform: You may schedule services through our online booking system on [e.g., our website, www.canyonlakehandyman.com, or a third-party platform]. Bookings require selecting a service, date, and time, subject to availability. Information Required: You must provide accurate contact details, service description, and property information to facilitate scheduling. 2. Non-Binding Estimates Estimates Only: All cost estimates provided through the online booking system are preliminary and non-binding. They are based on the information you provide and standard rates for services such as minor repairs, painting, or installations. Factors Affecting Estimates: Actual costs may vary due to unforeseen conditions (e.g., hidden damage, material price changes) or scope changes. A final quote will be provided before work begins. No Obligation: Submitting an online booking does not create a contract or obligation for either party to proceed with services. 3. Binding Contract Requirement Signed Contract Required: No services will commence, and no payments will be processed, until a written service agreement (incorporating the Default Service Policy and Payment Policy) is signed by both you and Canyon Lake Handyman. Contract Details: The agreement will include the final scope, cost, and terms, superseding any online estimates. You will receive the contract for review prior to signing. Cancellation Before Signing: You may cancel an online booking at any time before signing the contract without penalty. 4. Deposit and Payment No Payment at Booking: No payment is required at the time of online booking. Per the Payment Policy, a 50% deposit is due upon signing the contract, with the balance due at completion. Adjustments: Any cost adjustments will be documented in the signed contract. 5. Integration This Policy is part of the Default Service Policy and Payment Policy. Terms on liability, disputes, and warranties apply. Disputes related to online bookings follow the Default Service Policy’s resolution process.
